I have been attacked by hawks before Margaret! Red Tail Hawks are very territorial, especially if they have a nest and eggs close by to where you are running. I'm suprised this hawk didn't come back at you. I was in a trail once and one swooped at me four or five times. protect your eyes in this situation.

Training a bunch outdoors, you are bound to encounter some wildlife which make for good stories! I've also swallowed a bee, been hit by a blackbird, chased by a racoon, nipped a deer on my bike, had a squirrel run into my rear wheel, and swam into a nest of turtles.

No beer or mosse encounters - we'll save those for Straz way up north.
